We need two ratings here.
Long enough that when she finally extricates herself with the help of her big brother Gageshe’s in no way ready to resume normal life. The story is told in first person Haven and while I am not a fan of that, it did not take away from the book at all. Diaglo are honestly so many thoughtful and charged passages I would have liked to quote, but in the end I’m going with a favorite lighter-but-packs-a-punch-at-the-end snippet to illustrate the what I’m talking about here: To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up.
I liked this book a lot but I felt like it wasn’t quite as good as Sugar Daddy. Open Preview See a Problem? And I even really enjoyed the sex scenes, normally I skip those in my romances.
In this case, the heroine’s journey was very painful to read. Hardy is a yummy hero though. A shaky laugh escaped me. After all that, the highlight for me was Hardy Cates. Home Contact Us Help Free delivery worldwide. This book is about Haven Travis, the only female Travis sibling.
So props to Racquel for preparing me for the swoon.

While the reading experience is enjoyable overall, there are a couple of problematic issues. Two years later, Haven returns home, determined to follow the dictates of his heart. From her first uncomfortable encounter with Hardy at her brother’s wedding to years down the road meeting him again when she had keypas left to give, I was drawn to Kleypas’ painfully honest portrayal of one girl’s life.

But Blue-Eyed Devil book 2 is brilliant. I think this story should have been called – Blue-Eyed I’m not sure how someone with a domestic violence history would view it, perhaps it would be affirming to see someone else survive what they survived or it could be triggering. I’ll do my best, but now you know not to expect my best work Really 5 star writing, but there were parts that were so effective that they depressed the living hell out of me so I have to give it a 4 on the “like” scale.
Even with those gripes it was still a good book though and Lisa Kleypas writing always sucks me in. Kleypas makes it work because while forceful, it’s never even a little bit actual force.
Here is the difference. She wants Travis, but is too scared to consummate the relationship. In fact, I still haven’t.
Kleypas touches on some harsh and heavy topics that our heroine must face and while the continuing theme made sense, I got kind of frustrated with it especially near the end. It’s not too often that you come across a contemporary romance author that kelypas write a timeless book.

Travis #2: El diablo tiene ojos azules, de Lisa Kleypas – Literatura Romántica Juvenil
This intimate meeting of them, without knowing each other, extricated any doupts I might have about Hardy’s intentions or emotions for Haven, after he learned her name and who her family is.
Coming out of a bad marriage Haven has attracted the attention of Hardy, a rival of the family. They’re messy and hurt and hopeful and recalcitrant.
