Canada country who announced the squad of the Triathlon, Wrestling and Women’s Handball team who will be travel Lima Peru for the 2019 Pan American games.
In the Triathlon squad team have named six triathletes including three men and three women. This is not a qualification games for the 2020 tokyo games thus they will be sending the young squad in this tournament.
Wrestling Canada Lutte have named an 11-strong squad for the Games in the Peruvian capital. If we look at the squad then Olympian of Rio 2016 Korey Jarvis is most notable name in the tournament. He will be compete in Men’s 125 Kilograms freestyle.
Darthe Capellan in the 57kg, Jevon Balfour 74kg, Alex Moore 86kg and Jordie Steen 97kg make up the rest of the men’s freestyle team.
Diana Weicker in the 53kg, Hannah Taylor 57kg, Olivia Di Bacco 68kg and Justina Di Stasio 76kg compete in the women’s events.
The wrestling Events are scheduled to take place from August 7 to 10 at the Miguel Grau Coliseum.
While in the Handball events which are olympic qualifying games of Pan american games as winners are reach to Tokyo 2020 in women’s competition.
Canada finished second behind the United States in the overall medals table at the previous Pan American Games in Toronto by winning the 219 medals including 78 golds.
